What says summer more than the beach and the ocean? Mermaids? Well that's how we do it in Brooklyn! This mermaid coloring page from Melanie Hope Greenberg celebrates the Coney Island Mermaid Parade which kicks off the summer every year in Brooklyn, New York. It's one of many mermaid coloring pages we offer (all for free, of course!).

Look closely at the mermaid's tail and you will see images of the famous borough: the subway train and the city skyline. A feat of imagination your kids will surely love to color, whether or not they've ever been to Brooklyn.
This coloring page is the perfect accompaniment to Melanie's classic book, Mermaids on Parade.

just so you know, when you click on the "mermaid coloring page download" you get the photo with the mostly colored in page, not a download of a fresh page to color. Not sure if that was your intention.
